 The female disease of self-consciousness - universal to every woman; regardless of age, race, ethnicity, body size, shape - you name her, she’s felt it.

The baati being a one-size-fits-all garment was by no accident. It has always come in an oversized fashion to accommodate for every woman. It saves you the hassle of having to sieve through clothing sizes which actually, believe it or not, has a psychological effect on you when you’re left disappointed that you can’t fit into what you’re heart truly desires - whether it’s too big, too small or even not modest enough sometimes - why put on a number on yourself sis? Categorise yourself? Limit yourself? 

The woman back home doesn’t. And she feels good for it *scratch that*, she feels liberated.

I, myself, as someone who is very slim and has always been told that if all else fails “You can always be a model!” (no shade to any gorgeous models out there), I can assure you that whatever end of the spectrum you are at, society doesn’t rest. 

Just remember; 

Everyone has bouts of doubt about their appearance that is constantly changing and that’s okay. Life is for the living and so [as it says on our cards] - ‘be you, do you, for you & live comfortably confident’.
